How long is the lease term?

We offer month to month leases, meaning no contracts and no commitment.  Additionally, our facilities offer discounts for long term storage, so if you know the amount of time you will be storing you can save by prepaying your rent.

When can I get to my belongings?

Most of our facilities are open 7 days a week. Office and access vary by location. Please select a location for hours and features.

Will my belongings be safe?

To keep your belongings safe and secure, we offer state-of-the-art security that includes 24 hour videotaped surveillance, electronic gate access, good lighting and individual door alarms.  Features vary by location.

Do you provide insurance?

We provide tenant insurance through The Minico Company. We highly recommend you purchase insurance to protect your items.

How much notice do I need to give to move out?

We require a 30 days written notice to move out. Full details on the vacating policy will be provided for you at the time of move-in.

Do you prorate my move out?

Billing is done on your anniversary of your move-in date. Rent is never prorated or refunded. Tenants must vacate the storage unit no later than the anniversary date in order to avoid being charged for the next month.

Do you offer boxes and packing supplies?

All WYCO Self Storage facilities offer a wide variety of store merchandise including boxes and packing supplies.

What is an On-Site Manager?

On-Site Managers live in an apartment on the facility grounds.

Are drive-up units available?

Some of our facilities offer the convenience of drive-up units that allow you to load and unload your storage items directly from your vehicle into your unit.

Some of your competitors offer climate controlled units, why don’t you offer climate controlled storage?

Some of our facilities offer temperature controlled or heated units to protect your belongings from extreme weather conditions. It’s impossible to control the climate and anyone who says they can is misleading you.

Can I store a RV/Camper/Car/Boat?

WYCO Self Storage offers RV/Camper/Car/Boat storage at select locations. Please visit our Aurora Storage Center or AAA Platte page to find a facility near you.

Are there moving trucks available?

Various locations offer moving trucks and trailers with all of the moving supplies you will need.

How can I make a payment?

Payments can be processed by mail, in person or on the Make An Online Payment page. You may also arrange to have your payment automatically deducted from your Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card.

Are the facility details provided on the website standard for all WYCO stores?

Unit sizes provided are approximate. Unit features, pricing and availability vary by facility. All discounts and coupons are subject to terms and conditions based upon location and unit size.

What are the terms and conditions of this site?

WYCO Self Storage makes no warranties on this site and its terms are subject to change at any point in time.  WYCO is not responsible for technical difficulties of any sort including a network failure or delayed connection.  In addition, WYCO will not be held accountable for the use or content of any websites accessed through or provided by this site.

WYCO exceeds owner expectations through intense “hands on management”, cost control and rate increases with unit optimization. Store managers are monitored and measured on call quality and upsell capabilities which lead to additional ancillary sales. In those operations where self moving operations are housed store owners see an additional 7-10% in income with minimal overhead.

Our Experience

WYCO’s parent company Polo Properties has been ranked in the Top 100 Operators by Self Storage for the past 5 years. Polo Properties was started in 1994 in Cheyenne Wyoming by Michael Humphrey with a focus on self storage construction, consulting and operations. Mike is a graduate of the University of Wyoming, with over 20 years experience in sales and sales management as well as 6 years in the real estate and real estate appraisal business. Mike owns/co-owns 5 stores along the Front Range and resides in Sedalia, CO with his wife and two sons. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, water skiing, gardening and snow skiing.
